Carer support in Middlesbrough

Middlesbrough and Stockton Mind’s Carers’ Support Service provides emotional and practical support for anyone in Middlesbrough, over 18 who provides support to a family member or friend with a mental health difficulty.


They offer different types of group work including peer support, Me Time which is about getting involved in craft activities and workshop style courses which focus on well-being and improving relationships.


The service also offers training, delivered with carers to mental health professionals with the aim of gaining insight of caring and to promote best practice to involve and include carers.
